What is a computer?
A computer is a machine that is programmable. The main two characteristics are: that the computer responds to instructions inputted in by the user and to output the instructions.
How has the computer changed our lives?
The computer has had a huge impact on our daily lives. It is now normal to have several computers in one household, when thirty years ago, a computer was rare and were bought by people who could afford them. Computers come in varieties of sizes, types, whether a laptop or a desktop computer. The computer also has access to many different programs and applications specifically for the computer.
The computer has made many tasks easier for us. With the help of programs and applications, the user simply inputs an instruction and the program does it manually and quickly. Many people of different ages find the computer very useful. Whether it is a child using the computer for educational games, a teen utilizing the computer to communicate with friends or even a busy parent keeping track of their children’s daily lives. Without the computer, many things would be more difficult, but with new technology blooming almost every day, the computer will continue to rise and become more useful.
