A hard drive is a storage device that stores data. The hard drive is the main, largest data storage device in the computer. The hard drive is located inside the computer. The internal hard drive is the main storage for the computer. It houses the computers the machine's files and programs. External hard drives are portable and the most popular types of portable hard drives are USBs.

What is a DVD drive?
A DVD drive is a device that can be found in devices that are specifically used to read DVDs, CDs and other discs. They can be found in desktop computers, laptops, DVD players, cars, and TVs. The latest version of a DVD drive is the 'Blu Ray Drive'. The disc inside the DVD drive would hold more information than the drive itself. There are internal and external DVD drives. Internal ones are found in laptops and computers while external ones are DVD players and are connected to TVs.

BLU RAY DRIVE
What is a Blu Ray drive?
A Blu Ray drive is a disc drive made for high-definition content. A Blu Ray drive looks almost identical to a regular DVD drive. But one of the differences? The Blu Ray drive delivers five times more information than the regular player. This is possible because the Blu Ray drive uses a blue laser than a red laser which is used by the regular DVD drive. Blu Ray drives deliver amazing high-definition, if used with HDTVs, the imagery would be superb.
